Nathans Wastesavers has been sorting and grading textile material for over 100 years. We handle, sort and process over 600 tonnes per week and export to developing nations in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
Our new multi purpose sorting facility currently employs over 250 local people who sort and grade over 150 grades of second hand clothing and household textiles for export. Over 98% of the processed material is either re-used or recycled. Textiles that do not meet our strict grading process are recycled into a variety of products within the UK.
We provide a wide range of wiping cloths suited to many business sectors which offers a cheaper and ethical alternative to paper based products – please click here for more details. Other material is sent for processing within the UK to include, sound proofing within the automotive industry, carpets, underlay and mattress linings.
